Keep Pearland Beautiful Compost Demonstration

Keep Pearland Beautiful hosted a free Compost Demonstration on Thursday, July 26, 2018 thanks to the generous sponsorship of Living Earth. The demo was a partnership between Keep Pearland Beautiful, Living Earth and the Brazoria County Master Gardeners Association. There were over 30 people in attendance eager to start their own compost project. In addition, 25-cubic foot compost bins were on sale at the event, with over 25 sold! New Municipal Green Waste Programs

Texas Communities Increase Recycling Rates by Adding Yard Waste Recycling Programs

The City of Missouri City, TX entered into a new contract with WCA Waste Corporation at the beginning of the year to service residents and businesses. Did you know the new waste service contract allows residents to recycle their yard trimmings instead of sending them to a landfill?!
